MEET KNOX

When my grandson Knox was born with Down syndrome, it was so obvious to us all that his cute baby room would not work.  A collaboration with his therapists and family provided a designed setting that stimulated his senses, including movement. Converting their seldom used dining room into a sensory integrated space won local and national residential design awards. I created a seminar highlighting this project to present my findings to designers and to caregivers and families in similar situations.
